Understanding the requirements for high school and how to earn an endorsement is critical for creating a four-year plan for high school. Wylie ISD’s creation of Career Experiences within each endorsement area will allow your student to explore his/her interests and strengths while preparing for post-secondary goals. To further our students' understanding of the possible careers available to them, we have produced a growing library of videos highlighting the passion, requirements and potential paths to each career.

Wylie ISD offers career and technical education programs in Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources, Architecture and Construction, Arts, AV, and Communication, Business Management and Administration, Education and Training, Health Science, Hospitality and Tourism, Information Technology, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Admission to these programs is based on interest and aptitude, age appropriateness, course pre-requisites, and class space available.
